Overview

The Speech-Language Path Home Health position at CoxHealth involves providing in-home evaluation and application of Speech and Pathology Services for patients with speech, voice, and language disorders. The role requires traveling to patients' homes and working independently to deliver high-quality care.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home evaluations for speech and language disorders
  • Provide direction and application of Speech and Pathology Services
  • Minimize effects of speech, voice, and language disorders
  • Demonstrate clinical expertise in speech therapy practices
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and their families

Required skills

  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology/Communicative Disorders and Sciences
  • Active Speech Therapy license in Missouri
  • BLS certification within 90 days
  • Ability to provide reliable transportation
  • Good clinical expertise and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Interest in professional growth through continuing education
