Job Description

Overview

The Speech-Language Path HHA position at CoxHealth involves providing in-home evaluation and application of Speech and Pathology Services to assist individuals with speech, voice, and language disorders. Candidates are expected to have the necessary certifications and preferably one year of related experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide in-home evaluations and therapy for speech, voice, and language disorders
  • Develop and apply individualized treatment plans
  • Minimize the effects of communication disorders
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Transport patients as required

Required skills

  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology/Communicative Disorders and Sciences
  • License of Speech Therapy active in Missouri
  • BLS Certification within 90 days
  • Good clinical expertise and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Reliable transportation
