Why you'll love this job The Specialist/Senior Specialist of Corporate Communications is part of American's Global Engagement team, a dynamic and collaborative group that helps shape the company's actions, drives engagement with internal and external stakeholders, and builds and protects the airline's brand and reputation. Support the Corporate Communications team in developing and delivering complex messages clearly and concisely for team members and external audiences.Develop compelling communications plans and business education campaigns to help American's stakeholders understand important business decisions.Work to educate media on American, keeping all key stakeholders informed and updated along the way. Develop and maintain important relationships with key reporters, handling media on site at events and acting as a company spokesperson.Develop and execute communications strategies around sensitive and fast-moving issues with tight deadlines. Work on real-time business issues with American's leadership team and drive the company's positioning.
