Overview

RONA is seeking a Sales Specialist in Calgary, Alberta, to contribute to the company's commitment to customer service and community engagement. In this role, you will leverage your product knowledge and analytical skills to assist customers and drive sales, while being part of a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as an in-store expert providing product information to customers and associates
  • Drive sales activities by promoting and recommending products and services
  • Ensure shelves are well-stocked and appropriately displayed
  • Prepare weekly flyers
  • Handle order management tasks, including entering new orders and communicating with suppliers
  • Follow up on customer orders and assist in finding, selecting, and loading merchandise
  • Perform other tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the store

Required skills

  • Experience in a similar position
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in hardware retail is a strong asset
