Overview

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Integration/Test Engineer to focus on FAA Flight systems in Wolfe City, Texas. This role involves ensuring the flight readiness of various systems and subsystems through rigorous testing and troubleshooting, while being part of a mission-driven team dedicated to national security.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform subsystem pre-operational checks following engineering documentation.
  • Configure and prepare LRUs and subsystem components for interface and operation.
  • Execute subsystem and system level Ground Test Plans.
  • Conduct insertion loss testing of RF harness assemblies.
  • Troubleshoot systems and subsystems to the component level.
  • Identify subsystem LRU failures and recommend repairs.
  • Support EMI and Tempest testing of airborne subsystems.
  • Assist in software and hardware development integration activities.
  • Conduct aircraft pre-flight activities for system readiness.
  • Utilize test equipment for subsystem and system troubleshooting.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of experience, or a Graduate Degree with 2 years of exper
  • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • Experience with SIGINT/COMINT mission systems on military platforms.
  • Familiarity with industry standard test equipment and COTS hardware.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient in Windows-based programs and COTS software applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
