Overview

The Specialist, Employee Relations, working under general direction, is responsible for the resolution of employee relations issues, such as conflicts, disputes, and disciplinary matters, with fairness and consistency in a timely manner. This role conducts daily operations including investigations, mediations, and administration of company policies and procedures related to employee relations, performance management, and workplace conduct. Additionally, the role stays updated on trends and industry practices within the employee relations domain, collaborating with teams to implement training programs, and ensuring compliance with policies. The role maintains accurate and confidential employee records and data related to employee relations matters.At BlueOval Battery Park Michigan, you will Use your entrepreneurial skills and team mindset to come up with data-driven solutions.Contribute with an agile team to deliver the advanced technology that drives the future.Create a culture of trust, encourage diversity of thought, and foster leadership in others.Be part of the historic transformation of the automotive industry.What you'll do Provide Human Resources support and guidance to BlueOval Battery Michigan team including the planning, development, launch and implementation of business strategyAssist in gaining alignment in related Human Resources processes and procedures to enable a competitive Battery Manufacturing framework and positive employee experiencesSupport building a strategic alignment with the partner(s) on the HR Delivery Model while driving process improvements and efficiencies to support high quality employee relationsAssure the quality of assigned employee relations programs and processes including engagement surveysCollaborate well cross functionally to further the goals of the Company and Employee Relations teamAdvise on complex HR matters ranging from employee concerns, complaints, and disputes from inception to resolutionProvide support to Talent Acquisition, Workforce Development, Employee Relations, Total Rewards, HR Information Technology, etc. as well as support in driving strategic alignment with key partners and stakeholdersAbility to communicate complex ideas/findings clearly and conciselyProactively utilize data and metrics to identify employee trends and inform improvements to policy, process, and training to educate employees.
