Overview

The Specialist, Employee Relations at Ford's BlueOval Battery Park Michigan is responsible for addressing employee relations issues, including conflicts and disciplinary matters, ensuring fairness and compliance with company policies. The role involves conducting investigations, mediations, and implementing training programs while maintaining accurate records and collaborating across teams to enhance employee experiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Resolve employee relations issues such as conflicts, disputes, and disciplinary matters
  • Conduct investigations and mediations related to employee relations
  • Administer company policies and procedures regarding employee relations and performance management
  • Develop and implement training programs in employee relations
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records related to employee relations matters
  • Collaborate with teams to improve HR processes and employee engagement
  • Utilize data and metrics to identify trends and inform policy improvements

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources processes
  • Experience in employee relations and performance management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to influence and guide all levels of staff
  • Experience in Manufacturing settings preferred
