Overview

Freedom Academy Inc. is seeking a compassionate and organized Special Education (SPED) Teacher to join their small charter school in Paradise Valley, Arizona. The role focuses on providing individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, emphasizing their academic, social, emotional, and personal growth in a structured and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct instruction to students in various settings based on IEP goals
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs
  • Develop and maintain IEPs in compliance with IDEA and state guidelines
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data analysis
