The Secret Service is seeking Special Agents for the Hazardous Agent Mitigation & Medical Emergency Response (HAMMER) Team. This role involves providing hazardous agent mitigation and emergency medical support during protective operations in potentially dangerous environments.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide hazardous agent mitigation and emergency medical intervention
  • Locate, extract, and decontaminate protectees in hazardous environments
  • Utilize monitoring technology to assess chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats
  • Coordinate with tactical elements and medical units during protective details
