Job Description

Overview

The United States Secret Service is seeking Special Agents who are courageous, intelligent, and determined. Special Agents will engage in investigative and protective duties, serving both within the U.S. and abroad, and will be eligible for a $40,000 recruitment incentive.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide protection for various protectees
  • Conduct criminal investigations pertaining to financial obligations of the United States
  • Plan and implement security designs for National Special Security Events
  • Complete 13 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center
  • Complete 18 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center
