Overview

The Spa Director at Hotel Chaco will lead the spa and wellness operations, focusing on creating transformative experiences for guests while upholding luxury service standards. This role is essential in shaping the spa's identity, team culture, and operational performance, contributing to the hotel's overall luxury positioning and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day spa and wellness operations with a focus on luxury service standards
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive spa revenue and guest satisfaction
  • Oversee scheduling, labor management, payroll controls, and operational budgeting
  • Create and maintain innovative wellness offerings and culturally inspired treatments
  • Ensure cleanliness and tranquility in the spa environment
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement service recovery strategies
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership, marketing, and sales teams for guest engagement
  • Develop promotional strategies to increase guest loyalty
  • Maintain vendor relationships and manage retail product selection
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and safety regulations
  • Analyze financial reporting and operational trends for improvements
  • Recruit and mentor high-performing spa professionals
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
  • Serve as a hands-on leader and guest ambassador

Required skills

  • Strong leadership presence and communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of luxury spa operations and wellness programming
  • Understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest experiences
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and labor management
  • Previous experience in luxury hotel or resort spa
  • CPR and First Aid certifications preferred
