SOX Consultant - 6 Month Contract Responsibilities Support the planning and execution of the annual SOX compliance program. Conduct risk assessments, control testing, and process walkthroughs. Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls. Review control documentation, process narratives, and supporting evidence. Validate remediation activities and monitor the resolution of control deficiencies. Prepare compliance reporting and support SOX deliverables. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen internal controls and support continuous process improvement. Qualifications CPA designation required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in SOX compliance, internal controls, or audit. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
