Weber's Restaurant and Hotel is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join their team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The role involves mastering kitchen positions, supervising staff, ensuring food quality, and managing kitchen operations during expo shifts.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure meals are prepared to the highest standards and presented attractively
  • Expedite food orders for delivery to tables
  • Monitor food stock levels and replenish as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
  • Follow health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and front of house for effective food preparation
  • Oversee and verify nightly kitchen closing procedures
  • Supervise kitchen employees

Required skills

  • Proven experience as a kitchen supervisor
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
