Key responsibilities
Train and lead kitchen personnel
Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities
Estimate food consumption and procure food supplies
Select and develop recipes, standardizing production for consistent quality
Establish presentation techniques and quality standards
Plan and price menus
Ensure equipment operation and maintenance with safety and sanitation adherence
Oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction
Required skills
2-3 years in a culinary position
2-3 years of post-high school education, preferably a culinary degree
Advanced knowledge of food profession principles and practices
Experiential knowledge in management of people and problems
Strong verbal, reading, and written communication skills
