Job Description

Overview

Remorque Gator is seeking a MIG/TIG Welder to join their team in Sherbrooke, Quebec. This full-time, permanent position offers stable employment in a dynamic work environment focused on quality and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with robotic welders
  • Perform welding of parts on trailers and other subassemblies
  • Weld using MIG on steel and potentially on aluminum
  • Weld using TIG on aluminum (an asset)
  • Conduct various metal cutting tasks
  • Weld different metals including stainless steel and steel
  • Ensure adherence to production timelines and quality standards
  • Follow safety regulations and workplace methods
  • Perform other related tasks as required

Required skills

  • Experience in welding
  • DEP in welding/mounting or relevant experience
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints
  • Knowledge of different materials (steel, stainless steel, aluminum) and their strengths
  • Manual dexterity
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Strong observation skills and team spirit
