Job Description

Overview

The Soteria House Resident Support Staff at Pathways Vermont plays a crucial role in providing support to individuals experiencing early episodes of psychosis in a therapeutic community residence setting. This position focuses on building relationships with residents through a non-judgmental, client-centered approach, while also fulfilling essential house functions and participating in team collaboration.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide non-judgmental support and availability to residents
  • Engage in relationship and rapport building with residents
  • Assist with social skills, wellness, medication, and housekeeping
  • Attend scheduled meetings including supervision, team, and all-staff meetings
  • Complete TCR training annually
  • Communicate program rules and expectations to residents
  • Collaborate on the formulation and review of comprehensive care plans
  • Maintain records and complete program documentation
  • Monitor referrals to community services and advocate for resident participation
  • Perform regular household cleaning and maintenance

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication, writing, and computer skills
