Overview

SSM Health is seeking a Sonographer II to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures at their St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. This role involves providing quality imaging for patient assessments while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves
  • Set up and adjust ultrasound equipment
  • Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures
  • Assist in routine and complex imaging studies
  • Recognize significant structures and report equipment malfunctions
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the department
  • Comply with regulatory agencies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
  • Specialties in Abdomen (AB), Breast (BR), and Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP)
