Overview

Jobot is seeking a Solutions Architect specialized in Data Engineering and Cloud Architecture to build scalable enterprise data platforms for high-profile clients on AWS and Snowflake. The role involves combining technical architecture responsibilities with consulting, solution design, and account leadership in a rapidly growing modern data consultancy.

Key responsibilities

  • Architect and design enterprise cloud-native data platforms
  • Lead solution design, discovery sessions, and technical roadmaps
  • Guide implementation teams through complex data engineering initiatives
  • Mentor engineers and architects across multiple customer engagements
  • Build strong executive and stakeholder relationships across enterprise accounts
  • Lead technical presentations, architecture reviews, and solution proposals
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers

Required skills

  • 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture or Data Engineering
  • Strong expertise in AWS, PySpark, and Snowflake
  • Experience designing enterprise cloud-native data platforms
  • Advanced SQL and data modeling skills
  • Familiarity with Kafka, Airflow, Databricks, dbt, Fivetran, or Matillion
  • Client-facing communication and consulting experience
  • Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers
  • Strong Python development skills
