Overview

The SolidWorks Drafter position at Custom Control Sensors involves creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using SolidWorks software, while ensuring adherence to engineering drawing control procedures. This role is essential within the aerospace manufacturing industry, contributing to the production and support of various switch and sensor products.

Key responsibilities

  • Produce 2D and 3D layouts, section, assembly, and detail drawings based on specifications.
  • Edit, revise, and update existing drawings and Bill of Materials.
  • Maintain quality standards and meet production quotas.
  • Follow instructions and procedures accurately.
  • Work consistently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and adapt to changes as needed.

Required skills

  • Proficient in SolidWorks or similar 3D design software
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of ANSI 14.5M-Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • Familiarity with Syteline or other ERP software for Bill of Materials data
  • Effective time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Manual dexterity for operating office equipment
  • Must qualify as a 'U.S. Person' under ITAR regulations
