Overview

SolarTech Energy is looking for an experienced Solar (PV) Foreman to join their team in Anaheim, California. This role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, and service of residential solar panel systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Install photovoltaic (PV) solar panels, racking systems, and inverters on residential rooftops
  • Assist with site preparation, including measuring and layout
  • Identify and address electrical, environmental, and safety hazards on-site
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on installed solar systems
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and update job status
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
  • Collaborate with project management and warehouse teams
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
  • Attend ongoing training sessions for installation methods and safety procedures

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in solar panel installation
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools, conduit bending, and safe ladder use
  • Ability to work at heights and in various outdoor conditions
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certificate preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
