Overview

As a Software Engineer III at ClearEdge, you will engage in high-impact analytics development projects that support critical data operations for the DoD. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable data-driven solutions in a collaborative Agile environment, focusing on modernizing software components within a secure ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize analytics pipelines using Pig and PySpark.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement software solutions.
  • Write, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable code.
  • Support patch management, system updates, and IAVA tracking.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Contribute to automation and integration using tools like NiFi and Ansible.

Required skills

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience in analytics development
  • Proficiency with Pig and PySpark
  • Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
  • Familiarity with Apache NiFi and Ansible
  • Experience with patch management and IAVA tracking
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based teams
