Overview

Join ClearEdge as a Software Engineer III and be part of a mission-focused team tackling the DoD's complex technical challenges. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable data-driven solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to support critical data operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize analytics pipelines using Pig and PySpark
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement software solutions
  • Write, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable code
  • Support patch management, system updates, and IAVA tracking
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
  • Contribute to automation and integration using tools like NiFi and Ansible

Required skills

  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or additional experience)
  • Strong experience in analytics development
  • Proficiency with Pig and PySpark
  • Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
  • Experience with patch management and IAVA tracking
  • Familiarity with Apache NiFi and Ansible
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum-based teams
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
