DUTIES: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Software Engineer in Plano, TX, and the job duties are as follows: - Design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. - Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. - Determine computer user needs; analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls. - Prepare operating instructions. - Design and develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. - Ensure software standards are met. LOCATION: Plano, TX REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting services industry. Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: - Working with .NET to design and develop scalable and secure applications; - Building, testing, and maintaining applications using C#; - Working with WPF to develop interactive desktop applications; and - Working with WCF to build and maintain service-oriented applications for inter-process communication. Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: - Working with UI software development to create user-friendly designs; - Developing applications using Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery, Prime NG or RXJS; - Designing, managing, and optimizing SQL queries; and - Working with MS Access to develop and manage databases, forms, and reports to support data analysis. Telecommuting permitted up to 60% from assigned location.
