iClassPro, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer Manager to lead a skilled development team responsible for delivering impactful software solutions. This role emphasizes people-first leadership in a dynamic environment, focusing on team performance, code quality, and effective engineering execution across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage individual and group performance through expectations setting, 1:1 meetings, and growth opportunity identification
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop engineers at multiple levels
  • Act as the technical authority for the team, engaging in architecture decisions and design reviews
  • Establish and maintain coding standards and quality benchmarks
  • Support engineers in tackling complex technical problems
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager on sprint planning and backlog grooming
  • Provide engineering perspectives on capacity, complexity, and technical dependencies
  • Ensure achievable sprint goals and clear priorities
  • Represent engineering in cross-functional conversations

Required skills

  • Minimum 7 years of software development experience
  • Minimum 2 years of team leadership experience
  • Deep familiarity with Laravel, React, Angular, iOS, or Android
  • Experience in a structured agile environment
  • Ability to communicate technical complexity to non-technical stakeholders
  • Coaching mindset focused on team output
