Overview

As a Software Developer at Nord Quantique, you will join a dynamic team focused on advancing quantum technology. This permanent position allows you to contribute to the development of software tools essential for quantum processor development while working in an inclusive and flexible environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze functional and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software tools
  • Perform code reviews with respect to best coding practices
  • Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure the quality of software tools
  • Identify and fix bugs
  • Contribute to software architecture design decisions and technology choices
  • Write appropriate documentation

Required skills

  • Expertise in Python programming
  • At least 4 years of experience in software development
  • Knowledge of good coding practices
  • Advanced level of English
  • Experience in database design and management
  • Experience in distributed systems design
  • Experience with Kubernetes, hybrid cloud, and/or private cloud
  • Experience with DevOps
  • Experience in compiler development and/or DSL
  • Experience in Rust and/or Golang programming
  • Experience with development of software interacting with control electronics and/or lab instruments
  • Experience with development of software in an industrial setting
  • Experience developing GUIs or interactive application software
