Job Description

Overview

The Social Worker, Regional Manager at U.S. Renal Care is responsible for acting as a liaison between the operations leadership team and field social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality psychosocial care. This role also involves supporting the improvement of quality outcomes and overseeing training and development for social workers in the assigned area.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care as outlined in the Social Worker Job Description.
  • Offer guidance and feedback to support field social workers in achieving quality outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication and training for field social workers on clinical competencies.
  • Monitor achievement of quality outcomes and facilitate quality improvement projects.
  • Coordinate orientation and training for new social workers.
  • Manage social worker coverage for dialysis facilities during absences and vacancies.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to social workers.
  • Participate in leadership team meetings related to quality and staff development.
  • Promote effective relationships across the organization.

Required skills

  • Master's Degree in Social Work accredited by CSWE
  • Current state licensure in Social Work
  • 3 to 5 years of social work experience in multi-location healthcare
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
  • Advanced analytical skills
