TeamHealth is seeking a passionate and experienced licensed counselor to join their team in Tybee Island, Georgia, providing psychotherapy services in a skilled nursing and long-term care facility. The role allows for flexibility in scheduling and aims to make a positive impact on the lives of older adults.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional psychotherapy services to older adults
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct clinical assessments and diagnoses
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions to improve patient mental well-being
  • Manage scheduling preferences in a flexible work environment

Required skills

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapis
  • 1 year of experience post-licensure
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities
