Job Description

Overview

TeamHealth is seeking a passionate and experienced licensed professional counselor, licensed marriage and family therapist, or licensed mental health counselor for a psychotherapist role in Twin City, Georgia. The position starts part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time role in a supportive skilled nursing and long-term care environment focused on improving the mental well-being of older adults.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional psychotherapy services in a skilled nursing facility
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based interventions
  • Maintain a flexible schedule with the ability to set preferences for work hours
  • Complete charting within 48 hours

Required skills

  • Current LPC, LMHC, or LMFT license in Georgia
  • Minimum 1 year experience as an LPC/LMHC/LMFT post program completion
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities
  • Passion for working with older adult populations
