Overview

The Social Media Art Director at CornerStone Staffing is responsible for creating visually compelling content for a nationwide cosmetics company. This hybrid role combines conceptual design and execution to enhance brand presence across various social media platforms.

Key responsibilities

  • Concept and execute visually engaging social-first content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Design and adapt creative assets for both organic and paid social campaigns
  • Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, videographers, photographers, and designers for cohesive storytelling
  • Support art direction for photo and video shoots, including pre-production and on-set collaboration
  • Contribute to the development of Social Playbooks and visual guidelines
  • Monitor trends and platform updates to inform relevant content
  • Collaborate with creators and influencers for authentic social content

Required skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in design or art direction in social media, beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brand environments
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling across various formats
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Familiarity with After Effects and Premiere Pro
  • Understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
