Overview

Position Title: SMD Production Planner General Description Responsible for planning production to meet customer requirements while adhering to standard base stock targets and utilizing SL Sequential Production principles (Maximize outputs while minimizing inputs). Roles and Responsibilities Inventory Management for 1,805 In-house Part Numbers (Root cause analysis & improvement plans)Manpower Utilization Planning & Coordinating Daily Headcount Requirements with the Production SupervisorsCreating Production Plan to Meet Customer Requirements (Daily à Monthly à Yearly)Coordinate Machinery & Tooling Preventative Maintenance Schedules with the Engineering TeamCreate, Maintain, and Update SAP/MES Work Centers, Part Info, MBOM, Routing, and SequencingCoordinate New Program Production Planning with Production, Launch, and Costing to meet CIS targetsActively Participate in CFT & TFT Activities (Especially UPMH or Scrap PPM)Support Accounting Month End Closing from the PP Modules to Meet DeadlinesProduction Documentation Control (IATF & QSB)Daily, Weekly, Monthly Production Reporting (OEE, SWS KPI) & Coordinate Root Cause Analysis with CountermeasuresReporting of Supplies Expense Associated with Production Plan (Improvement Plans if needed)Back-up Production Supervisor, Material Handler, or Operator in Emergency SituationsManagement of Production Performance Data.
