Overview

Dynomax Inc. is looking for a Small Parts Inspector for their 2nd Shift team in Chicago, Illinois. The role requires an experienced individual to inspect materials and machined components using precision measuring instruments, ensuring they meet specifications.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect or test materials and machined components for deviations from specifications
  • Use precision measuring instruments and optical devices to verify conformance
  • Notify supervisors about reject products and materials not meeting specifications
  • Record inspection data and mark items with acceptance or rejection status
  • Interpret blueprints, models, and manuals for specification and inspection procedures

Required skills

  • 3+ years manufacturing experience as a Machine Operator or Inspector
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Ability to learn measuring equipment including micrometers and calipers
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work at a microscope for extended periods
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
