Overview

The Skilled Transport Refrigeration Technician at CSTK Inc is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Carrier and Thermo King refrigeration units. This full-time position requires experience in refrigeration repair and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair transport refrigeration units
  • Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all refrigeration unit components
  • Keep paperwork updated upon completion of tasks
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical degree or certification
  • 1-2 years of experience with transport refrigeration units
  • Thermo King refrigeration repair
  • Diesel engine repair
  • Low and high voltage electrical systems
  • Microprocessors
  • EPA Certification with refrigerant
  • Ability to work overtime and on-call
  • Proficient with diagnostic computers
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Current and valid driver license
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
