Ford Motor Company is seeking a Skilled Trade Toolmaker and Template Maker for its Kansas City Assembly plant. The role involves manual machining, equipment operation, and fabrication and repair of fixtures and tooling, requiring a blend of education and experience in the trade.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate manual lathes, mills, surface grinders, radial drills, and metal cutting machines
  • Fabricate and repair fixtures and tooling
  • Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines
  • Read blueprints and schematics
  • Follow safety rules and procedures
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Maintain good attendance and willingness to work overtime
