Overview

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Skilled Trade Plumber Pipefitter for their Kansas City Assembly facility. This role involves working with various plumbing systems, including pneumatic, fluid, and steam systems, and requires a strong set of mechanical skills and knowledge in pipe fabrication.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform tasks related to plumbing and pipefitting
  • Read blueprints and layouts
  • Install and repair pneumatic, fluid, and steam systems
  • Fabricate pipe systems and install valves
  • Work safely and follow instructions from leadership
  • Maintain good attendance and adapt to scheduling needs

Required skills

  • Knowledge of blueprint reading
  • Experience with pneumatic, fluid, and steam systems
  • Pipe fabrication skills
  • Mechanical skills including gas arc and plasma cutting
  • Rigging and lifting experience
