Job Description Job Description Site Safety Coordinator - Santa Clara CountyWe have an immediate opportunity for a Safety Professional in Santa Clara area. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of day-to-day operation for an Electrical Company (low to medium voltage). Safety Specialist serves as the company's point of contact for safety with owners and subcontractors.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist Safety Director in risk management, identifying potential hazards, recommending corrective actions, employee safety training and emergency response procedures, and proper use of PPE.Requires the experience, knowledge, and skills in safety to administer, direct and manage compliance with the company safety program and incident prevention efforts.Perform and document job site inspections and audits.Ensure subcontractor compliance regarding safety and health requirements.Manage site safety documentation.Compile materials for safety meetings, prepare agendas, and record meeting minutes.Effectively manage problem prevention strategies to limit reactionary practices.Ability to analyze all loss in addition to determining causes of injuries, develop trend analysis and statistical summary of accidents and injuries. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Associate or bachelor's degree in safety, Industrial Hygiene or related discipline or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge desired.OSHA 10 required.Additional safety certifications a plus.Thorough understanding and the ability to enforce federal, state, local and company regulations.Intermediate computer skills with the ability to use MS Office with proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).Ability to write clear and concise thoughts in a professional manner.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Must be able to submit and pass a pre-hire drug test, background check, and have a spotless driving record.(Safety, Electrical, OSHA 10, Site Audits, Construction, First Aid Certification) Company Description About us:347 Group, Inc. provides staffing resources to a variety of industries.
