Overview

The Site Mentor at Growing Minds Early Education Programs will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of early childhood education. This position involves partnering with teachers to elevate classroom practices, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster engaging learning environments for children.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide individualized coaching and mentorship to lead teachers and classroom staff
  • Conduct regular classroom observations and deliver strengths-based feedback
  • Support staff in implementing high-quality curriculum and child assessment tools
  • Ensure compliance with Title 5 and Title 22 regulations
  • Collaborate with site supervisors to identify professional development needs
  • Model best practices in the classroom
  • Facilitate professional development workshops and team meetings
  • Document coaching activities and staff progress
  • Build trusting relationships with staff to support continuous improvement
  • Participate in program self-assessments and quality improvement initiatives
