Overview

The Site Manager in Training (MIT) at Team Quality Services Inc. is a structured program aimed at developing future Site Managers through hands-on training in the field. As a direct-entry management development role, MITs will initially serve as Field Quality Associates while progressively learning Site Manager responsibilities under the supervision of a Regional Manager. Successful completion of the program qualifies them for permanent Site Manager positions, depending on business needs and availability.

Key responsibilities

  • Interview, onboard, and manage team members at assigned locations
  • Monitor performance and develop improvement plans for teams
  • Execute company operating systems and enforce policies
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of supplier parts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality objectives
  • Document and update information in software systems
  • Provide technical support to customers and staff
  • Identify leads and generate new business opportunities
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing or automotive quality
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO, TS 16949)
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Proficient in technology usage, including smartphones and software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Project and time management capabilities
  • Valid driver's license
