Overview

The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a Site Foreperson for its Pottstown Division. This role involves directing the activities of workers on construction projects, ensuring compliance with company values, and maintaining effective communication with both crew and customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct the daily activities of construction workers
  • Read and interpret blueprints and job-related documents
  • Record daily events and maintain a job diary
  • Schedule materials, equipment, and work for the crew
  • Conduct site meetings and attend relevant project meetings
  • Analyze cost reports for production adjustments
  • Communicate goals and objectives effectively to the team
  • Enforce company values and ensure compliance

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Mathematical skills including geometry and statistics
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills including Internet and email
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
