Overview

The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a Site Foreperson for its Pottstown Division to oversee construction activities related to highways, pipelines, and other projects. The role involves ensuring projects are managed effectively, maintaining compliance with safety and company standards, and addressing customer needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct daily activities of construction workers
  • Read and interpret blueprints and job-related documents
  • Schedule materials, equipment, and work for the crew
  • Record daily events in job diary
  • Conduct site meetings and manage crew communications
  • Analyze cost reports and control onsite costs
  • Lead by example and enforce company values

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or one year of relevant experience
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Mathematical skills including geometry and trigonometry
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Basic computer skills
  • Driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to meet physical requirements
