Overview

The Site Director at Naas Elementary School is responsible for leading and supervising a team of educators to create engaging classroom experiences while ensuring the site operates effectively and meets educational standards. This role involves building strong relationships with children, families, and staff, with a strong focus on inspiring both children and teachers.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a group of teachers to create unique and engaging classroom experiences
  • Ensure the site operates effectively, maintaining licensing, safety, and educational standards
  • Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, school leaders, and community contacts
  • Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts of new families and children

Required skills

  • At least one year of teaching experience
  • Strong desire to make a difference in children's lives
  • Ability to build relationships with families and staff
  • Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple situations effectively
  • Physical ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and engage in physical activity
