Overview

As the Site Director at Mark DeLay Elementary, you'll play a vital role in inspiring children and leading teachers within the Champions program. You will utilize a nationally recognized curriculum to foster engaging classroom experiences aimed at empowering both educators and learners in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise teachers to create engaging classroom experiences
  • Ensure effective site operations, maintaining licensing and educational standards
  • Partner with parents to provide the best care and education
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and community contacts
  • Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts for new families

Required skills

  • At least one year of teaching experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with families and staff
  • Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple situations effectively
  • Physical capability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and engage with children
