Overview

Fannie Mae is seeking a Lead Associate for Single-Family Market Engagement in Product Management, based in Reston, Virginia. This role will play a crucial part in enhancing Fannie Mae's Salesforce platform and manage product ownership through the entire lifecycle of features. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in an Agile environment to deliver product enhancements and ensure user adoption.

Key responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end responsibility for the product lifecycle at the squad-level.
  • Partner with program leadership to shape the product roadmap based on data-backed recommendations.
  • Manage dependencies across stakeholder groups and coordinate interrelated tasks.
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily delivery using collaborative tools.
  • Support change management efforts by creating training materials and championing the platform.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure user validation.
  • Provide guidance for junior product managers and business subject matter experts.

Required skills

  • At least 4 years of experience in product management.
  • Experience using product management tools like Jira or Confluence.
  • Proven track record in a mature Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Familiarity with major CRM platforms like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or HubSpot.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft products such as PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
