Maintain a clean and orderly working environment. Air arching and air slice. Torch operations: track torch, scarfing, and straight tip. Preheat and post heat. Crack repair and basic buildup. Welding and fabrication. Dual shield welding 1/16 and 3/32. Teardown and rebuild hard iron parts. Weld parts using positioners. Weld buildup parts for machining with no slag inclusions. Brazing. Bronze wire and nickel wire buildup. Inspect and write up for incoming jobs. Read and use all types of measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers). Read and understand blueprints. Grinding preparation for weld. Keep personal area clean and dump garbage. Keep scrap metals picked up. Follow safety protocol.
