Overview

The Shop Foreman at Lincoln North Miami plays a crucial role in supporting the Service Manager by directing and overseeing the work activities of the service staff. This position involves ensuring high-quality service outcomes and compliance with safety and operational standards in the service department.

Key responsibilities

  • Directs and assists service staff in their job phases
  • Conducts periodic checks on job statuses per repair order
  • Ensures proper inspection and documentation of Certified Pre Owned vehicle certifications
  • Maintains the Fixed Right the First Time average above the national average
  • Assists in the discipline and performance review of staff
  • Manages inventory and obtains competitive bids on tools and supplies
  • Conducts quality control checks on completed jobs
  • Trains technicians in the service repair center
  • Ensures the shop is organized, neat, and follows safety policies

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years of Shop Foreman experience
