This is a hands-on opportunity to work with a dedicated crew crafting precision sheet metal components in a well-equipped shop environment. If you take pride in quality craftsmanship and love working with metal, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities:Fabricate sheet metal components, assemblies, and systems according to blueprints and shop drawingsOperate shop equipment including shears, brakes, rolls, and plasma cuttersMeasure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to specified dimensionsPerform welding, soldering, and fastening of metal pieces and assembliesInspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specificationsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environmentCollaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlinesRequirements:Prior experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related trade but will train the right personProficiency reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and shop drawingsHands-on experience with sheet metal machinery and hand toolsBasic welding and soldering skills preferred but will train the right personStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced shop settingReliable, punctual, and safety-conscious work ethicAbout Us:Scott Sheet Metal Co Inc has been a trusted name in the sheet metal industry serving the Wakefield, MA area and beyond.
