Job Description Job Description SHOP DRIVER JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Learn by paying attention and participating with all that is being asked within all aspects of the fire sprinkler tradeDeliver material to job sites where needed, as needed.Pick up material at warehouses and deliver to shop or job site, as needed.Check in material and maintain pick tickets and turn into admin, as needed.Perform flow test for design, as needed.Deliver equipment to jobsites, as needed.Assist other teammates as asked by PM or Superintendents.Other duties as assigned Expectations:Believe In, Live, and Support Our Mission Statement, Core Values and Business Plan DailySafety FirstEnsure timely and complete submittal of JSAs, Toolbox Talks, Audit Forms, etc.Ensure timely and accurate Incident and Accident ReportingHold yourself accountable for all Safety InitiativesHold yourself accountable for Safe Driving of Company VehiclesEnsure awareness and support of Stop Work AuthorityComplete all Training Requirements - Safety, Certifications, etc.Submit accurate Timesheet - job numbers/names, OT and travel pay, completed on time, etc., support transition to Electronic timesheet submittalEnsure all required documents are complete, accurate and professional, with required signaturesEnsure proper Inventory Management - review, update, and approve packing slips - submitted timely, proper material managementEnsure proper Maintenance and care of equipment - trucks, lifts, tools, etc.Keep jobsites clean and organizedEnsure Production Efficiency - awareness of budget vs. actual labor hours and proactive communication with superintendentSupport and Ensure Adherence to Company SOPs - Purchase Orders, Change Orders, etc.Timeliness - at the job on time; attendance; communication with supervisor; paperworkEnsure Customer Satisfaction and respond to Customer Satisfaction Survey feedback improvement opportunitiesMaintain a Professional appearanceCommunicate effectively and professionally within the department and with internal and external customersTeamwork - maintain positive interactions within your team, local office, etc.Actively Participate in required team meetingsAbility to work overtime, out of town or on-call as needed Knowledge:Basic Math and ReadingUnderstand and follow basic Safety proceduresMinimum education of High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience: Helper or construction experience is a plusWarehouse role experience, organizing parts and material1 year of driving experienceSkills and Competencies:Good communication skillsSense of pride, integrity, and organizational abilityMust enjoy working independently and outdoorsPhysical Requirements:Standing and walking for most of the shiftWorking in heights to organize high shelvingLifting up to 50lbsUse of warehouse machinery on a daily basisAble to bend, reach and kneel with ease PI7095a05f68f0-3826
