Overview

AVTEC FINISHING is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for their Minneapolis location. The role involves performing in-plant operations such as loading and unloading trucks and managing inventory documentation while adhering to strict security protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Uphold company policies and procedures
  • Locate, package, and ship finished goods to customers
  • Receive and document incoming products
  • Load and unload trucks using a forklift
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing products
  • Assist Department Manager with shipping coordination
  • Follow safety protocols during all operations

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
  • 1+ years experience in shipping/receiving (preferred)
  • Forklift operation
  • Inventory management
  • Documentation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Customer service skills
  • Basic typing and computer skills
  • Good organizational skills
