Job Description

Overview

The Shipping Specialist at Diamond Graphics LLC is responsible for managing outbound shipments and ensuring customer needs are met. This role involves preparing products for shipment, completing necessary paperwork, and adhering to company shipping policies in a structured and safe environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and ship all outbound shipments including parcel, freight, and international
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork for outbound shipments
  • Manage calls and set up delivery appointments for shipments
  • Adhere to company and customer shipping instructions, policies, and procedures
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • Maintain accurate data entry and records
  • Process outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx and other shipping software
  • Prepare outbound pallets for shipment including finishing and wrapping products
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet shipping deadlines
  • Operate powered industrial trucks including forklifts and powered jacks
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Assist Receiving as needed

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of experience in shipping/receiving
  • Knowledge of PC and database programs
  • Experience with ERP systems and shipping software
  • Basic measuring skills and visual quality inspection
  • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping
  • Forklift operation experience
  • Experience with FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including email, Word, and Excel
