Overview

The Shipping & Receiving Staff at Micro Precision is responsible for overseeing customer orders, ensuring accuracy in shipping and packaging, and providing excellent customer service. The role involves tracking inventory, maintaining shipping areas, and assisting with customer claims when necessary.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist customers with business matters and update orders with tracking notes.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy.
  • Package equipment appropriately for transit.
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions.
  • Track and manage inventory of customer assets in storage.
  • Maintain cleanliness of shipping area and equipment.
  • Lift and handle packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.
