Over the years, our ability to grow and set ourselves apart from the competition is the result of a tried and true philosophy - take care of our customers and take care of our people.Objectives of this roleWe are currently seeking a dedicated Shipping Receiving Coordinator to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT.This role will be responsible for managing the shipment and receipt of materials and products. This role involves coordinating logistics, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.Key Responsibilities:Offloading steel and pallet deliveriesReceiving and verifying materials to purchase ordersFilling out and referencing detailed formsStaging and organizing items for storage/production/shippingFacilitating movements of material and finished assets in and out of productionPulling and preparing parts and assets to ship completeLoad planning/staging for shipmentsOperation of forklifts and overhead cranes to safely achieve objectivesProvide daily administrative support, including data entry, filing, scanning, and maintaining organized shipping, receiving, and inventory records.Prepare and process shipping documents, packing slips, bills of lading, and receiving paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness.Update purchase order receipts, shipment details, and inventory transactions in the company's business systems.Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to schedule deliveries, track shipments, and resolve documentation discrepancies.Assist with matching invoices to purchase orders and receiving records, coordinating with Purchasing and Accounting to address discrepancies.Answer and route incoming calls and emails, assist visitors and delivery drivers, and maintain office supply inventory.Qualifications and Experiences:High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.Previous experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with inventory management software and shipping procedures.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate forklifts or pallet jacks (certification preferred).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Forklifting (forklifts on site range from 5k-36k capacity)RiggingBasic tape measure usageLoading/unloading flatbed trailersBasic Mechanical drawing comprehensionWhat we offer:We offer competitive compensation and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.Cigna Health Insurance (Kaiser in CA)FSA & HSA healthcare employer contributionCritical Illness, Accidental, and Hospital Indemnity PlansDental and Vision PlansCompany paid STD & LTD Disability InsuranceEducational and Tuition ReimbursementMaternity (12-wks) and Paternity leaveEmployee Assistance ProgramBasic & Voluntary Life AD&D4% 401K Employer Match, with 6% of your ContributionVacation time and front loaded Sick Time.Company provided PPEDiscounts on products and servicesOpportunities to network and connectAmerican Equipment Holdings is an organization of leading overhead crane and hoist, industrial weighing, and below-the-hook service providers in the United States.
